Every five years, adult education consortiums in Minnesota must submit a comprehensive program narrative to the Minnesota Department of Education. The narrative is an overview of programming, policies, accomplishments, and future goals and plans. The Minneapolis Adult Education Consortium serves the residents of Minneapolis and the surrounding area by providing quality instruction in English Language Learning, GED preparation, Standard Adult Diploma, Citizenship, and Career Pathways areas. The consortium's members are Minneapolis Public School District (MPS) and six community-based organization partners: Cedar Riverside Adult Education Collaborative (CRAEC); English Learning Center (ELC); Learning in Style (LIS); Hennepin Healthcare - Pathways Program; Somali Success School (SSS); and Summit Academy OIC (SAOIC).
